Standard PCB Production Process(Two) to Avoid Scratching

Scratching is the most common and difficult problem in PCB factories. We can only control this defect at the lowest proportion by reminding ourselves to pay attention to the operation specifications at all times.

How to avoid scratching during PCB manufacturing?

Last article we introduce the process 1 to 10, now will will introduce the standard production process of 11-20.

Process 11: Circuit – QC inspection board

How to avoid(Standard Process)?

  1. Three spaces must be left in front of the inspection plate, and the plates are not allowed to collide or stack together when inserting the frame.
  2. The inspection plate shall be handled with care, and it is not allowed to hold two plates in one hand.
  3. QC must wear gloves to hold both ends of the board with both hands when checking the board and handle it gently when taking out the board.
  4. If reworked boards are detected, they must be placed in the area to be treated, and different item numbers shall be separated by films.

Process 12: Circuit – backwashing

  1. All backwashing boards must be inserted into shelves or separated from films, and cannot be directly stacked with boards.
  2. During the backwashing process, the backwashing operation must be carried out one by one.

  3. Only one plate can be placed on the backwashing table, and only one plate can be taken at a time when washing with water.

  1. The pre-board process of feeding must be separated with film, and the stack of the film is 50pnl, and each stack is placed. Or film separation between different models.
  2. It is not allowed to have film inserts that are not stacked or the film is smaller than the size. If the previous process is not implemented as required, the plate splicer will reject it.
  3. Place the board, work with gloves when connecting the board, handle it gently, and place the board at a distance of 2-3cm.
  4. When inserting the board, the operator shall prevent it from falling apart and operate it carefully to prevent the corner from scraping the board surface.
  5. Plates with different sizes cannot be inserted into an iron frame at the same time, and all inserting frames shall comply with this requirement.

  1. When removing the plug-in board, it must be operated with both hands to prevent the board from colliding with other hard objects.
  2. When setting nails, do not squeeze the positioning piece vigorously. When using the nail bed printing plate, do not move the plate on the nail, and ensure that at least two positioning pieces are installed.
  3. When making the nail bed, you should choose the position of gong or beer.
  4. Handle the baking board with care to avoid falling apart or plate surface friction.

  1. When handling, tighten the screws of the iron frame first and handle it with care.
  2. When inserting and taking the board, it must be inserted vertically to prevent the board corner from inserting flowers on the board surface.
  3. Each alignment is OK. A board is inserted vertically. Blades and hard objects are not allowed on the table to prevent scratches.

  1. Check whether the machine operates normally before starting it.
  2. When placing plates, long-scale plates shall not be placed obliquely, and the plates shall be separated by 3-5cm.
  3. Put down one developing board after putting one.
  4. In the process of handling, tighten the screws of the iron frame first and handle it gently to avoid falling apart or plate friction.

  4. There shall be no throwing or throwing of the board, and the board cannot be directly placed flat on other hard objects.
  5. When backwashing, it must be inserted into the rack or separated from the film and handled with care.

Process 20: Text – post-baking

How to avoid(Standard Process)?

  1. When baking plates, the pallet truck cannot be stacked in two or more layers to prevent the plate frame from falling and scratching.
  2. Do not insert two pieces in one grid before and after the baking board, and do not place the board horizontally on the iron frame to bake the board.
  3. The baking board should be placed in the direction, and flowers cannot be arranged on another board.
